![]() ![]() I really enjoyed the characters and was rooting for the red-haired love interest. Like many others it was one of the first Otome Isekai I read. More than anything this manhwa just disappoints me. This manhwa was the first massively popular one to do the whole "marrying the one to kill me in my previous life" thing (which is far more common than it should be) and thus is the most infamous manhwa. BUT HE STILL SUCKS! IT'S SUCH AN AWFUL PLOT DEVELOPMENT, I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THOUGHTS WERE GOING THROUGH THE HEAD OF AUTHOR. The manhwa tries very hard to convince you that this person is different in this timeline and regrets what he did in the previous timeline. BUT ALL OF THAT IS POINTLESS BECAUSE SHE ENDS UP WITH THE GUY WHO KILLED HER IN HER PREVIOUS LIFE AGAIN! Aristia La Monique (the female lead) decides to become a knight, along the way she meets two love interests and fights to have her place. ![]() I want to change things in the past so I can avoid my terrible future". "I was killed by my fiancée in my past life and woke up years earlier. For those who don't know this manhwa is a standard ![]() This brought about a lot of traffic to the series, and suitably a lot of discussions about how shit the series was. This manhwa was relatively popular because it was one of the first Otome Isekai manhwa's that had a large number of chapters. What's the worst thing a story could do? I know, have something interesting and then, as the story goes on, make everything in the whole story feel pointless because nothing matters. There is a reason this manhwa is so infamous. There are many story worth more your time but it is still an amazing experience to go through considering it makes me care for the MC and some of its character I can safely say to not reccomend you reading this from story alone. You can clearly see the ending the author want, but due to bad excecution it was almost mocking its own story. ![]() The plot goes on a horrible turn introducing many Deus ex Machina mechanic with an unsatisfying ending that throw away all of the growth you've seen from all the character. and pacing you continue to read only to be spit of by the latter half of the story You get to see the psyche of each character and finding out who truly loves the MC and wasnt do it to save himself. I really love the deconstruction take of the typical troupe the story manage to do in the early part of the story. It was an amazing first few chapter with a clear villain to the story and how we root for the MC. The manwha takes on the generic troupe for the villainess to be MC but manage to shows how much of a victim the MC was and how putrid the people surrounded her to be. ![]()
